CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS EVENT 2019
Danny Brown comes in as the defending Grand Prix champion. He’s won 7 of his 10 events this year, winning 61% (joint third best record) of his total matches. Brown is the most successful player in Tie Breaks this year with a 76% strike rate.
Jason Greenslade has been the joint best player in this year’s Grand Prix on matches won with 63% success. Interestingly, he has a better Head to Head record against Harlow than Brown and is also adept when it comes to a Tie Break, winning 67% this year.
Greg Harlow’s win last Monday qualified him for todays event – he played very well that day and is clearly focused and in form. Surprisingly, he’s statistically only 11th best this year on matches won but he’s obviously a class act with something at stake and will take all the beating today. One negative would be that 19 of his 43 games this year have gone to a Tie Break of which he’s won only 6.
